Brothers Charles and Nicholas Handley’s design-build construction firm builds more than homes — they build lasting relationships based on clarity, care, and a job done right. Rooted in the Walla Walla Valley, serving homeowners who expect a higher standard of quality, Charles and Nick approached Walla Walla Creative Co. to develop and build a brand that reflects their experience, values, and expertise.

Working from Charles’ own design idea, Walla Walla Creative Co. developed a complete brand identity, including logo, business papers, website, site signage, fleet graphics, and apparel.

 

The Handley Construction logo is symmetrical and solid, evoking craftsmanship, strength, stability, integrity, and trustworthiness.

Charles’ truss illustration idea was thickened and refined into a logo mark bold enough to hold up at small size but with additional refined shaping and structure details that reveal as it scales up.

Custom solid, bold typography lends a subtle vintage tradesman feel but with a focus on heavy machinery strength and reliability. A seldom used but fun “Handley Brothers” variant of the logo intentionally leans more directly into a vintage generational family business style.

 

Handley’s new website includes sections for each service segment, plus information about the business, praise from their clients, and a secure contact form.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Every worksite is an example of work product success and values, so site signage is important. And Handley’s small fleet of work vehicles and trailers is another important on-site and on-the-go brand building opportunity. WWCCo created site signage and carefully outfitted each vehicle and trailer to take advantage of this visibility both at a distance and in person, representing the company while also building client confidence in Handley’s services.

Of course, with their custom-branded apparel, Charles and Nicholas and their whole crews are also fully outfitted brand ambassadors, themselves.
