The new Sherwood Trust brand grows directly out of the creative brief’s central idea:

That idea guided every decision—from the mark’s geometry to the color tone. The result is an identity that looks forward to the future while honoring the legacy of Donald and Virginia Sherwood, whose vision continues to shape the Valley.

The Brand Reflects Sherwoods’ Legacy

Donald and Virginia Sherwood were deeply influenced by mid-century design—its architecture, furniture, and clean visual language. The new logo reflects that sensibility through simple geometric shapes, balanced proportions, and a mid-century-inspired palette of natural, grounded colors. The design feels timeless rather than trendy: rooted in the Sherwoods’ era of optimism and community building, yet refreshed for the next generation of leadership.
